Rockstar Games has officially released its highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, giving fans their most detailed look yet at the upcoming open-world game.
The presentation premiered on Netflix on August 27, 2026, before becoming available through Rockstar’s official channels. Rockstar says the footage was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5, making it an official showcase rather than another leaked development clip.
What Does the GTA 6 Extended Look Show?
The extended presentation runs for roughly 26–27 minutes and focuses heavily on protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos as they navigate the fictional state of Leonida.
The footage provides new looks at Vice City, rural areas, businesses, vehicles, criminal activities and everyday life throughout the game’s world. Fans also get additional glimpses of police chases, shootouts, basketball, scuba diving and other activities.

Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release has not been announced for launch.
